why test should be taken?
Drug Test was designed for the detection of different substances in urine via visual interpretation of color change in the test cassette, which is based on a competitive immunoassay.
The membrane is coated with a specific antibody in the test area. During the test the urine sample is mixed with a colored conjugate (drug-protein-gold-conjugate) located at a pad present inside the test cassette.
The mixture then migrates through the membrane by capillary action. Drugs which are present in the sample compete with the conjugate for a specific antibody located in the test area of the membrane, replacing the particles. Con- sequently, a colored line showing the binding of the conjugate complex can only form in the test region if no drugs were used or the concentration is below the cut-off limit.
