STD and liver test kit for male

Rather than thinking which STD you might have better test most common STDs at once and also test you liver health  to avoid risk being infected with Hepatitis C - disease that affects the liver. STD test kit provides immediate results.

Generally, symptoms occur from 5 days to 4 weeks after infection. For syphilis take into account that after the infection it may take some time (days to weeks) before the body produces enough antibodies for detection. Also, in case of other diseases, recent exposure to the bacteria can test as negative. Thus, if your results are negative, but still in doubt, repeat testing after one month with a new test kit.

  • With the test kit you can detect the following STD infections: Trichomoniasis; Candidiasis (yeast infection); Bacterial vaginosis; Syphilis + liver screening (ALT and AST)
  • The majority of STIs have no symptoms or only mild symptoms that may not be recognized as an STI. Many people don't even know they have an STI since often people are just too busy and too embarrassed to go  for doctor's visit before they start feeling  unwell.

To whom?

Who should do the STD test?

  • if you have had unprotected intercourse with a new or random sexual partner;
  • before starting a new sexual relationship;
  • planning for pregnancy and / or early pregnancy (sexually transmitted diseases are transferred from mother to child during pregnancy or childbirth)
  • you have noticed an increase, changed in composition or a malodorous vaginal discharge;
  • bleeding, purulent mucus discharge after sexual intercourse;
  • genital pruritus (incl. vaginal or external genitals);
  • lower abdominal pain; pain during urination or sexual intercourse:
  • Ulcers or rash on genitals;
  • If your partner has been diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease;

Should I still take the STDs test even if I do not have any symptoms?

Yes! It is wise to do in case of a new partner and unprotected sexual intercourse.

Plus, with the aforementioned STDs typical symptoms may not show at first!

Chlamydia symptoms may be experienced without causing any physical complaints (up to 70% of women), so the infection can be undetected for years. There also may be short-term complaints, so that the infected person may consider them dismiss them as something else.

In cases of trichomoniasis symptoms do not occur in 1/3 of women (and they usually do not occur in men). Even the symptoms of syphilis in their early stages are unnoticeable.

Thus, sexually transmitted diseases may occur without noticeable symptoms. In cases of risky sexual behaviour, it is worth testing yourself regularly every three months.

Remember - any sexually transmitted infection will not cure itself.

What will happen to me if the sexually transmitted diseases remain undetected?

Undiagnosed and untreated sexually transmitted diseases could result in serious complications, including infertility, foetal loss, ectopic pregnancy, anogenital cancer.

Also, new-borns may become infected during childbirth. Problems can also occur in the renal pelvis.

Syphilis is a very serious disease, that can cause uncontrollable changes in the brain, nervous and cardiovascular systems. Pregnant woman with untreated syphilis can infect the foetus, but the infection can also be transmitted during childbirth.

If some of the sexually transmitted disease tests result are positive, immediately contact your family doctor for proper treatment. Sometimes there may be cases in which the test shows a positive result, even if there has not been an actual infection. Usually, this is due to a similar or previous infection (incl. a treated one). In these cases, you must immediately contact your family doctor.

Consider that in case you have contracted a sexually STI that your partner(s) should consider testing themselves too.
