SelfDiagnostics has a long standing relationship with different academic institutions in order to use efficiently the existing infrastructure and knowledge base. To name a few, main partners are Institute of Technology at the University of Tartu (development an isothermal DNA detection method), Leipzig-based Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology (IZI, development of a chemical heating, an assay and its validation), the Tallinn University of Technology (development of the device’s functional model), Dresden University of Technology (development of enrichment technology).
Furthermore, SelfDiagnostics cooperates with experienced private companies in specific technical fields in Germany, US and Japan. For example, aleading supplier of instrumentation and services for low-volume liquid handling and microfluidics, companies for custom made lateral flow strip manufacturing, microheaters manufacturing and injection molding.
